Abstract: This research investigates the relationship between instructional methods and the growth mind-set in enhancing learners’ mathematical fluency. Recognizing mathematical fluency as a critical skill that influences success across various fields, the study emphasizes the need for effective teaching strategies that foster both cognitive skills and positive attitudes toward mathematics. Utilizing a descriptive correlational design, data were collected from 150 students enrolled in "Mathematics in the Modern World" across multiple colleges. A patterned survey questionnaire, validated by experts and demonstrating high reliability (Cronbach's alpha = 0.98), assessed students' perceptions of various instructional methods and their growth mind-set. Findings reveal that innovative teaching strategies, such as collaborative and inquiry-based learning, significantly enhance students' engagement and mathematical fluency. Additionally, a strong positive correlation was identified between growth mind-set and mathematical fluency, suggesting that fostering a growth-oriented environment can improve student outcomes. This study provides valuable insights for educators aiming to integrate effective instructional practices with growth mind-set principles, ultimately supporting students' development as confident problem-solvers in mathematics.
