Abstract: Gender is an issue related to many aspects of human life such as awareness, habits, behavior, society, culture, etc. The relationship between gender and language learning and teaching cannot be considered only in internal language at the phonetic, grammatical, and vocabulary levels but must be looked at more broadly through a socio-linguistic approach related to a series of other issues such as biology, status, and roles in the family, as well as in the society of each gender in general and each specific member of each gender. Researching the relationship between gender and language learning at Thai Nguyen University of Technology can help researchers find appropriate solutions to apply to better foreign language teaching.
