Abstract: This phenomenological study, investigates the unique challenges encountered by senior high school students. The students that are transferred to Tongantongan National High School (TNHS). The transition to their new learning environment presents distinct difficulties. The selected methodology for this research was phenomenological. The researchers engaged in deeply personal heart to heart conversations with Grade 11 transfer students. The objective was to grasp, empathize and dig deeply through their individual journeys and associated trials. By doing a semi-structured interviews, the research found three key themes which are: academic challenges, educational demands, and integration strategies. By allowing these students to vocalize their experiences we understood their lived realities. The study aspires to expose the unique struggles they face with during this period of transition. This also aims to provide insights that can assist in smoothening the path for future transferees. The intentions of this study is to understand these students experiences.
