| Abstract: |
This study examined the relationship between the skill development of student interns and the satisfaction levels of host training establishments (HTEs). Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from one hundred HTE employees through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive-correlational statistics. The results revealed that interns demonstrated strong proficiency in both computer literacy and communication, while host establishments expressed high satisfaction with the organization and management of the internship program. However, certain areas, such as adaptability to new digital tools, written communication, cybersecurity awareness, and readiness for future employment, require further improvement. Correlation analysis indicated no significant relationship between acquired skills and host satisfaction, suggesting that other factors, such as attitude and work ethic, may have a greater influence. The study concludes that internship programs effectively enhance student competencies but should place greater emphasis on digital adaptability, written communication, and pre-internship preparation to meet evolving industry standards. |
