Abstract: Innovating teaching methods for national defense and security education subjects for students through the application of information technology will help improve the capacity of teaching staff, consolidate knowledge, practice skills, and military style, and change the thinking and awareness of managers at all levels... bringing high efficiency in defense and security education for students. From the assessment, we find out the impacts of objective and subjective factors to determine goals and propose solutions for applying information technology in teaching, to improve the quality of defense and security education subjects for students, to adapt to new content in the context of constantly changing national and regional defense and security situations, around the world, contributing to the cause of firmly building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.
