Abstract: This study examines the relationship between learning strategies and academic performance among Junior High School students in TLE of Kitaotao National High School. The research focuses on the determination of the students' learning strategies that the TLE students use along with the assessment of the academic performance of the TLE students. This study further ascertains the relationship between the learning strategies and the academic performance of the TLE students, and identify the variables singly or in combination to predict the academic performance of the students best. A correlational research design was applied from the data gathered randomly in Grade 7-10 students (Junior High School), particularly in Kitaotao National High School. An adapted Motivated Strategy for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) with a Cronbach Alpha of 0.88 was used to determine the preferred learning strategies by the students. A correlational analysis was used to assess the relationship between the learning strategies and the academic performance among the Junior High School TLE students. The study's findings reveals that learning strategies significantly influence students' academic performance. This research highlights that there are significant and positive relationships between learning strategies and academic performance.
