Abstract: This paper aimed to find out whether using Duolingo application can increase high school students' English pronunciation ability or not. The 41 students in grade 10 whose ages are 16 were divided into 2 groups - a control group and an experimental group. Both groups had to finish a pre-test and a post-test at the beginning and at the end of the research time. However, the experimental group used the Duolingo app during the research caried out while the control one did not. With the researcher's encouragement and instruction, the regular use of Duolingo to learn pronunciation in 6 weeks has proven that applying this app to the learning process helps students improve their pronunciation and gain more confidence in speaking lessons.
