Abstract: This study determined the level of competence of Senior High School TVL teachers in teaching 21st-century skills in learning and innovation, literacy skills on the information, media, and technology, and life and career skills. Likewise, the challenges encountered by teachers in teaching the 21st Century Skills were also identified. The study was conducted in the Division of Camiguin during the school year 2021-2022. The participants of this study were the thirty Senior High School TVL teachers handling specialized fields through purposive sampling. This study used the descriptive quantitative method of research. The data treatment includes the mean, standard deviation, and frequency counts and rank. Significant findings of the study showed that Senior High School TVL teachers’ level of competence in teaching 21st-century skills is very high. However, they encountered challenges in teaching 21st-century skills. These include lack of TVL equipment’s, many extracurricular activities that disrupt TVL classes, inadequate training for teachers relative to specialized courses, several subjects assigned to teachers that cause them not to focus on the technical issue taught and Students lack of interest due to the lack of technological devices in the school. Thus, the researcher designed a professional development plan to address the challenges encountered by the teachers.
