Abstract: As a publicly required course in colleges and universities, basic computer education is of great significance in improving its teaching quality, which helps to cultivate students' application abilities and improve students' comprehensive literacy. At present, there are still some problems in basic computer teaching in colleges and universities. Colleges and universities should rationally arrange computer course content, enrich the teaching sections of computer teachers, strengthen the connection between computer theory teaching and practical teaching, and establish and improve assessment and evaluation mechanisms, promote the development and progress of advanced computer teaching.
