Abstract: The integration of information technology and artificial intelligence (AI) into education has brought significant transformations, not only enhancing teaching and learning quality but also supporting the digital transformation process in education. AI technologies provide adaptive teaching methods, personalize learning experiences, and optimize educational management. However, despite these potential benefits, the implementation of AI in education in Vietnam still faces numerous challenges related to infrastructure, teacher training, and data security. This article analyzes AI applications in education, evaluates current trends, and proposes solutions to optimize AI integration in Vietnam’s educational system. Additionally, the study clarifies AI’s impact on traditional teaching models, assesses learners’ accessibility to advanced educational technologies, and identifies key factors determining AI’s success in improving education quality. Through this, the article outlines crucial directions for developing smart education policies to ensure AI is applied effectively and sustainably
