| Abstract: |
This study aimed to determine the relationship between parental involvement and academic performance of grade 6 learners in Camp One Elementary School, Camp One, Maramag, Bukidnon. This study employed a descriptive correlational research design and used total enumeration to select the study's respondents. Utilizing an adopted research instrument, a survey questionnaire from the study of Nessia et al (2025) entitled "Parental Involvement on Academic Performance", the study used a 5-point Likert scale as the scoring basis while following a planned data gathering procedure in the administration of the survey questionnaire. The study used frequency counts, percentages, and the mean to assess the level of parental involvement, and the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient to determine the relationship between parental involvement and academic performance.
Results revealed that parents are frequently involved in their children's education at home and at school. However, parental involvement in community-based activities is "neutral," meaning parents are either active or inactive in their children's education outside the home and school.
The result showed that the academic performance of the Grade 6 learners of Camp One Elementary School is at a very satisfactory level. The result further revealed that there is no significant relationship between parental involvement and the academic performance of Grade 6 learners of Camp One Elementary School.
