Abstract: |
The research study aimed to the determine the Success Factors of Hospitality Industry as
Social Media Influencers in Content Creation. The quantitative research followed a correlational
research design which is best suited to evaluating numerical data and discovering trends in content
creator’s success across various social media platforms. The survey was created by the researchers
themselves and utilized a random sampling method. Surveys were sent out via Google Forms on the
internet. The results indicated that 73% of those surveyed were between the ages of 18 and 25 and
mostly male, underscoring the importance of influencers possessing a combination of soft and hard
skills for creating content. In terms of soft skills, 83.8% showed a solid grasp of their audience, 91.8%
experienced a boost in confidence, and 89.2% performed better in critical thinking than in problem
solving. In terms of hard skills, 94.5% were skilled at delivering content effectively and 97.3% showed
confidence in marketing strategies. These results underscore the high level of competence and
confidence among influencers in hospitality industry which significantly contributes to their success
in producing, engaging, and impactful social media content. The direction of the correlation was
positive which means that social media influencers tend to be a successful content creator. |
