| Abstract: |
Culture Based Fisheries (CBF) is a form of stocking fish applied in waters with declining fish production or in waters with poor fish resources (not many types and numbers of fish or low diversity) but with moderate to high fertility. The function of CBF is that it can be utilized in increasing fishery production and stocking fish seeds from cultivation (hatchery). This CBF practice is expected to increase the standard of living and welfare of the community from poverty. Therefore, steps are needed to improve the policies implemented so far. So we need a study that examines the factors that influence the success rate of capture fisheries development. Therefore, steps are needed to improve the policies implemented so far. So we need a study that examines the factors that influence the success rate of capture fisheries development. Knowing these driving factors is one of the implementations of subsequent policies that can be improved so that the capture fisheries development target is achieved. The method used is literature study, and the analysis used is SWOT. Based on the results of the analysis above, implementing CBF in the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir is one of the government's strategies to optimize the potential of fishery resources in the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir. In addition, the application of CBF has an impact on improving the socio-economic conditions of the surrounding community. |
