| Abstract: |
Inefficient energy use results in higher greenhouse gas emissions, global warming and climate change. Among the many solutions to implementing energy saving strategies, environmental education and communication is a long-term and effective solution. The awareness of energy saving among Chua Hang I Secondary School pupils is fairly good, but there are still some incorrect behaviors. Some pupils do not fully understand the importance of energy saving and lack proper habits. Energy-saving education programs have not been fully implemented. Therefore, it is essential to continue raising awareness. The communication program to raise awareness about energy saving for pupils of Chua Hang I Secondary School was built with main activities including hanging energy saving banners, organizing a seminar on energy saving, "Poster and banner design" competition on energy saving, "Save electricity" competition to help pupils understand the role of energy in life and encourage energy saving habits, creating a foundation for environmental protection and sustainable resource use in the future. |
