Abstract: Nowadays, English is very popular in Vietnam. This study aims to investigate the factors affecting English learning needs of non-English majored students at Tay Do University. The subjects in this research were 60 students whose major was business administration at Tay Do University. In order to collect information about their English learning needs, a questionnaire was used. Research results showed that the factors affecting the non-English majored students were teachers, learning environment, self-learning and future career. The research also comes up with some solutions to improve students' needs and effectiveness in learning English.
