Abstract:	In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, digital transformation, characterized by digitization, hyper-connectivity, and smart data processing, is rapidly occurring worldwide as an inevitable trend. It enhances labor productivity, fosters innovation, and improves national competitiveness. Many countries have already formulated specific strategies and action plans for digital transformation across various sectors. Particularly, amid the complex developments of the Covid-19 pandemic affecting all aspects of life, the importance of digital transformation has been further emphasized. This article explores some fundamental characteristics of digital transformation in education, outlines several goals and manifestations of digital transformation in higher education activities in Vietnam today
