| Abstract: |
Hypertension is the medical term for high blood pressure. Blood pressure is the pressure on the inner walls of the arteries by blood. Hypertension is a medical condition in which the blood pressure on the arteries continuously increases. Hypertension is the condition in which systolic blood pressure is (SBP) > 140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure (DBP) > 90 mmHg. High blood pressure is a major cause for coronary artery disease, stroke, heart failure, peripheral vascular disease, and chronic kidney disease. The aim of this study is to monitor or observe adverse drug reactions of antihypertensive drugs in a drug treated hypertensive patients.
The main objective of this research is to determine the adverse drug reaction of antihypertensive drug. This research is questionnaire based survey conduct on the drug treated hypertensive patient who attended a general practitioner for the treatment.
1. To examine the most common adverse drug reaction of antihypertensive drug among hypertensive patient.
2. To examine the severity of adverse drug reaction of antihypertensive drug
