| Abstract: |
The aim of our study is to investigate familial atopy in families with risk, especially those with children allergic to cow's milk proteins. The survey in families at risk involved 30 patients and 105 close relatives (parents, siblings). Atopy was present in 73.33 % of patients. Clinical signs of atopy were present in 56.66% of patients and in 60 % of siblings with allergic rhinitis in the foreground. Cow milk sensitization was present in 19,10% of the close relatives of our patients at the skin prick testing (SPT) and IgEs levels against cow's milk were positive in 10%. In total, 24 members close to 17 families are sensitized to cow's milk either SPT or IgE Cow Milk and 8 members presented with a CMA (3 mothers, 1 father, 2 brothers and 2 sisters). |
