Abstract
We have observed that external therapy poultice pattru in siddha medicine play a vital role in case study . considering that low back pain is most worst and cause unbearable cant do our routine. In siddha system of medicine lumbar region pain along with naadi vatham it is termed as thandagavatham,we had observed that markable pain decrease in the patient with the ammukura kilangu pattru {Wathanina somnifera}. siddha system of medicine is one of the most ancient system it play a vital role in chronic disease and By using is patrru acute pain also got subsided.
