Abstract: |
This study explores the relationship between organizational culture and resiliency within hospitality organizations in Valencia City, Bukidnon. It examines how different cultural dimensions, including Market, Hierarchy, Adhocracy, and Clan, influence organizational resilience, particularly in terms of crisis preparedness, risk management, and adaptability. A descriptive-correlational research design was employed, with data collected through a structured survey administered to employees in hospitality organizations. The findings reveal that a strong Market culture, characterized by competitiveness and results-orientation, and a well-structured Hierarchy culture contribute positively to organizational resilience. While Adhocracy culture showed weaker correlations with resiliency, it was still noted that fostering innovation and flexibility is important for maintaining competitiveness. Additionally, the study found a significant positive relationship between organizational culture and resilience, with Market and Hierarchy cultures having the strongest impact. These results underscore the importance of nurturing a balanced organizational culture that fosters both internal cohesion and external competitiveness, contributing to better resilience and organizational success. The study also suggests that employers should implement resilience training and create supportive environments to further strengthen the organization’s adaptability and workforce well-being.
