| Abstract: |
This study examined the relationship between collaborative expertise, organizational learning, and the professional development of public school teachers in District III of Quezon. Using a descriptive-correlational design, data were collected from 250 teachers across Kindergarten to secondary levels through validated survey instruments measuring dimensions of collaboration, organizational learning, and professional growth. Results showed that teachers possess highly developed collaborative expertise, especially in positive interdependence and face-to-face interaction, and demonstrate strong organizational learning with emphasis on knowledge transfer and experimentation. However, openness to external interaction and risk-taking were comparatively lower. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that organizational learning significantly predicts professional development, whereas collaborative expertise alone does not. The findings suggest that organizational structures and culture play a critical role in translating collaboration into effective professional growth. Implications for educational leaders include fostering learning communities that promote shared reflection, innovation, and knowledge sharing. The study provides evidence to inform policy and practice toward developing integrated professional development frameworks that enhance teacher capacity and improve educational outcomes in public schools. |
