Abstract: This paper discusses the importance of teamwork in the context of education, specifically at the School of Foreign Languages - Thai Nguyen University. It emphasizes the need for students to develop teamwork skills during their academic journey, as these skills are crucial for success in the modern world, where collaboration is essential. The paper highlights the historical background of group learning methods and the significance of working together to achieve common goals. To enhance students' group learning skills, the paper proposes solutions for both lecturers and students. For lecturers, it suggests creating a collection of group exercises, increasing practice hours for teamwork skills, promoting interaction with students, and carefully preparing lectures. For students, it recommends overcoming the fear of losing friendships, encouraging active participation, showing mutual respect for differing opinions, and rotating positions within the group to distribute leadership responsibilities.
