| Abstract: |
Aquaculture waste can be in the form of leftovers from the digestion of fish or shrimp or leftover feed. Waste from cultivation can cause new environmental problems. Therefore it can be done with several waste management strategies, especially by the government, among others, monitoring and evaluating waste management, formulating policies on aquaculture waste management system standards, and strategies by increasing cooperation between the central / regional government sector towards sustainable aquaculture system policies with the principle of economic, ecological and social balance. The waste still has the potential to be reused in other activities. Waste generated from aquaculture can be used to become useful products, both for other living things (shrimp, worms, spirulina) as well as for human activities (liquid organic fertilizer). This utilization is a form of the blue economy concept for optimizing aquatic resources which aims to increase economic growth through various innovative and creative activities with environmental sustainability. The strategy for utilizing aquaculture waste as a renewable resource with the principle of zero waste refers to the formulation of the strategy (SWOT analysis). |
