| Abstract: |
This study was conducted with the purpose of evaluating the impact of microcredit on the living standards of households. The study utilizes data from the Vietnam Rural Household Access to Resources Survey datasets of 2020 and 2022, and employs the Propensity score matching - Difference in differences (PSM-DID) method to assess impact. The results show that microcredit improves total revenue, expenditures on industrial food, and the accumulation of assets for production. Consequently, the author suggests several policies to enhance the effectiveness of the microcredit program. |
