| Abstract: |
The textile and garment sector is one of Vietnam’s key export industries, whose growth is heavily influenced by international markets. In this context, strengthening internal control has become an urgent requirement for Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises in order to boost productivity and minimize risk. EPR has emerged as a strategic tool enabling these firms to standardize processes, increase information transparency, and implement effective internal controls. However, the rate of ERP deployment in Vietnam’s textile and garment sector remains low, and both implementation and application face significant limitations. This paper examines the current state of ERP integration in production operations and internal control within Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises, identifies existing shortcomings, and proposes directions for enhancing ERP deployment effectiveness. |
