Abstract: Internal control is an essential control tool to help economic and financial managers evaluate and adjust operational and business strategies in the most effective way. The building of an effective internal control system contributes to improving the reputation, image and competitiveness of enterprises in the market. However, at present, in many enterprises in Vietnam, internal control still has certain limitations. The article proposes some solutions to strengthen internal control for Vietnamese enterprises.
