| Abstract: |
The history of the appearance of integral calculus dates back to ancient Greece, in the works of Archimède, related to the problems of quadrature, product, and field. Standing in front of a specific flat figure, each mathematician has his own concept of area and specific calculation technique. Over thousands of years, people have found a general method that allows solving problems and the concept of integrals has clearly appeared, because its birth (as well as that of differential calculus) requires knowledge about variable, infinitesimal, infinitely large and limited quantities.
Integral calculus is one of the most difficult and highly abstract topics. However, integral calculus has very specific and effective applications in life such as measuring the length of a curve, calculating the area of a flat shape, calculating the surface area and volume of an object, analysis of problems in economics....Within the scope of the article, the author would like to point out some applications of integration in some problems in the field of economics.
