| Abstract: |
The great achievements in socio-economic development in our country's over 30 years of reform have a significant contribution to the private economic sector. From these vivid practices, the XII Congress of the Party affirmed: "the private economy is an important driving force" [1] of the socialist-oriented market economy. This is a source of encouragement for the spirit of entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity, creating vitality and breakthroughs for the strong development of our country in the coming period. Vietnam is building a Socio-Economic Development Strategy for the period of 2021-2030, which contains the content to strongly promote the growth of the private economic sector. This is a critical time for us to actively improve our position in the international arena while shortening the time to become a middle-income country. The growth and development of the private economic sector are indispensable and plays a particularly important role for the Government through continuing to renew the state management mechanism for this sector. This study focuses on analyzing the role of the private economy in developing the economy of Vietnam, from which proposing a solution to continue developing the private economy in the next stage. |
