Abstract: This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of large and medium industrial developments on labor absorption in South Sulawesi Province, and (2) the influence of large and medium industrial developments on tax revenues in South Sulawesi Province. This research uses a quantitative approach where the data used is in the form of secondary data collected using the documentation method. The data samples used in this study are large and medium industry data, the number of workers in large and medium industries, and regional tax revenues in South Sulawesi Province in 2007-2019 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of South Sulawesi Province. The data analysis method used in this study is path analysis with a two-path equation model. The results showed that: (1) the large and medium industrial development had a positive but not significant influence on labor absorption in South Sulawesi Province, and (2) the large and medium industrial development had a positive but not significant influence on regional tax revenues in South Sulawesi Province.
