Abstract: In this paper, I give an analysis to show why people say that: “cryptocurrencies have entered a not-so-cryptic apocalypse”. The crypto currencies bubble was blown up by assorted sources of information online and offline resulting in dubious speculators reacting so hasty without careful consideration for fear of missing the chance. Investors have to always self-remind to avoid herd behaviour like this and be more awared of investment seeming “two good to be true”. However, regarding the exoticness of crypto currencies, it is also understandable that people can easily fall into the bull trap.
