| Abstract: |
The development of Indonesia's coastal and marine areas as a unitary region will provide opportunities in many ways, especially the development of Indonesia's territory. These include integrated planning and faster regional development supported by the potential of each resource, both goods, and services. On the other hand, regional integration will also open up opportunities for the emergence of centers of economic growth and improvement of population welfare as development areas. This research was conducted in Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra Province in 2018. The method used is an analysis of the evaluation of internal and external factors on the development of capture fisheries. Logical framework analysis is the first stage of the strategy formulation process, at this stage a summary of the basic information needed to formulate a strategy is made. In the input stage, there are 2 matrices that will be used, namely the external factor evaluation and internal factor evaluation. The result showed that are four strategies to improve capture fisheries development in Padang Pariaman, improvement of industrial facilities and infrastructure, Expanding marketing network, Continuous improvement of the production system, Increasing production of coastal utilization through capture fisheries. |
