| Abstract: |
Ventricular tumors are rare tumors of the central nervous system and develop within the ventricular cavities of the brain. Their incidence is highest in children. Intracranial hypertension is the most frequent mode of revelation. A CT scan with and without contrast, injection is the key element of the diagnosis. Their treatment is essentially surgical. They are often benign and the prognosis depends on early diagnosis and treatment.
We report the case of patient with giant astrocytoma located in the frontal horn of the right lateral ventricle.
