Abstract: Currently, economic activities between Viet Nam and India have experienced robust growth, with bilateral trade reaching USD 13.2 billion in 2021—an impressive 36.6% increase compared to 2020—and projections indicating a rise to approximately USD 15 billion by 2025 despite the global economic downturn. This significant expansion in trade has catalyzed a surge in joint ventures between the two nations, thereby generating employment opportunities for hundreds of thousands of workers. However, the inherent cultural differences between Viet Nam and India have emerged as a major barrier to effective collaboration within these joint ventures, affecting communication and operational efficiency. In response to these challenges, this study aims to elucidate the differences in corporate culture between Viet Nam and India and to propose strategic recommendations for creating a cross-cultural work environment. The goal is to establish a workplace that not only ensures employee comfort and satisfaction but also enhances the overall business performance of enterprises engaged in bilateral trade.
