| Abstract: |
In recent decades, rapid urbanization and socio-economic development have led to significant changes in agricultural production land use. Lai Chau City is currently in the process of upgrading to a class II urban area. Urban development wwas accompanied by changes in agricultural production land area. Based on investigation, synthesis and analysis of documents, it shows that the area of agricultural production land in Lai Chau city decreased slightly in the period 2020 - 2023. Agricultural production land in Lai Chau city is converted to non-agricultural land. This fluctuation is consistent with the process of urbanization and upgrading to a class II urban area of the city. To maintain the efficiency of agricultural land use while the area is decreasing, Lai Chau city needs to promote sustainable farming models, converting crop varieties and crop structures. |
