| Abstract: |
This study aims to analyze the barriers faced by individual business households in Hanoi when participating in e-commerce platforms. Based on 500 survey responses, the findings indicate that these households encounter various challenges, including difficulties in order management, information security risks, limited technical support, and rising operational costs on e-commerce platforms. These barriers reflect common limitations among micro and informal businesses in developing economies, particularly in digital readiness and resource accessibility. Without adequate support, these enterprises struggle to adapt to the digital marketplace, limiting their competitiveness and long-term sustainability.The study emphasizes the need for targeted assistance in digital skills training, technical support, and more inclusive e-commerce infrastructure. Strengthening these areas will help individual business households transition more effectively to e-commerce, contributing to broader economic development and digital inclusion. |
