| Abstract: |
Algeria has been living with the Covid-19 epidemic since February 25, the date of the first reported case. Since then, preventive measures have been implemented. The epidemic takes a particular form, it affects young and old alike, even children. The death of a 9-year-old girl was recorded by Covid-19. This may be related to the structure of the population. A first peak was recorded on 03.04.2020 and since then the curve has declined. A second peak was observed on 04/17/2020. The maximum number of deaths has been recorded since the start of the epidemic. It seems to decrease after the application of the therapeutic protocol based on chloroquine and azithromycin. Our objective is to update the epidemiological situation and to propose prevention recommendations to consolidate the fight against the epidemic. |
