Abstract: This article analyzes the factors affecting financial risks of 21 medical enterprises listed on Vietnam stock exchange through the model of X-score (Zmijewski, 1984), using the financial data for the period from 2016 to 2020. The study focuses on designing research hypotheses, using descriptive statistics, correlation and regression to analyze the relationship between the dependent variable X-score and the independent and control variables. A number of regressions on EViews are used, including Pooled OLS, FEM and REM. We also perform necessary tests to compare the regression methods and check the violations in the models in order to choose the best model that meets our research objectives. After that, we apply theoretical and empirical analysis to explain the economic significance of the relationship between the dependent and independent variables. Finally, appropriate conclusions and recommendations are made. The research results show that the financial risks of the listed medical companies has negative relationships with ROS, ART, NAR và AGE.
