Abstract: This study determined the relationship between the technostress coping mechanism, digital proficiency, and engagement of basic education teachers. It aimed to determine the level of digital proficiency that they possess, the level of engagement that they exhibit, and the level of technostress coping mechanism that they practice. Furthermore, this study identified the variables that best predicts the technostress coping mechanism of basic education teachers. The study employed a descriptive-correlational research design and was conducted among the 308 basic education teachers in the Department of Education, Division of Bukidnon, Cluster IV Districts for the school year 2023-2024. The study utilized a survey questionnaire and made use of statistical procedures including descriptive statistics, Pearson-product moment correlation, and linear regression analysis. The findings revealed that basic education teachers had high levels of digital proficiency and engagement. Meanwhile, they highly practiced technostress coping mechanism. Further, there is a significant correlation between the technostress coping mechanism of basic education teachers and their engagement, and digital proficiency. Finally, engagement in terms of work-life balance was found to be the variable that best predicts the technostress coping mechanism of basic education teachers.
