Abstract: |
In an increasingly globalized world, the ability to navigate cultural diversity is paramount. Language education offers a unique avenue to foster multiculturalism and global citizenship. This study examines the integration of Chinese language instruction in Grade 8 under the Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL) at Bukidnon National High School, focusing on its academic, cultural, and interdisciplinary impacts. It argues that Chinese language education extends beyond linguistic proficiency, fostering empathy, cultural awareness, and global competence. The findings underscore the role of language learning in preparing students for meaningful participation in an interconnected world. |
