Abstract: |
Leadership changes in local government unit (LGU) schools can deeply affect the experiences of school faculty, yet their stories are often overlooked. This study aims to explore how faculty members cope with and perceive the effects of leadership transitions in their workplaces. Understanding these personal accounts is important because it sheds light on the real impact of leadership shifts beyond official reports and policies. The research uses a qualitative approach, gathering detailed stories through interviews with faculty members who have lived through such changes. Findings reveal that many faculty members feel uncertain and undervalued during transitions, but some also find ways to adapt and grow despite the challenges. These narratives show a mix of frustration, hope, and resilience that is rarely captured in formal evaluations. The study suggests that school leaders and policymakers should pay closer attention to the voices of faculty during leadership changes, as their experiences can provide valuable insights for smoother transitions and better support systems. By listening to those directly affected, schools can create a more understanding and stable environment, helping faculty stay motivated and focused on their work. |
