Abstract: This study investigates the factors influencing the purchase decisions of environmentally friendly fashion products among Gen Z in Ho Chi Minh City. The fashion industry is one of the largest contributors to environmental pollution, and as global awareness of sustainability grows, Gen Z has emerged as a key demographic for promoting eco-friendly consumption. The research applies a mixed-method approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative analyses. Through surveys and focus group discussions, the study identifies key factors such as environmental concern, product quality, accessibility, attitudes towards sustainable fashion, and trust in eco-labels. The results indicate that Gen Z's purchasing decisions are strongly influenced by their environmental awareness and the perceived quality of eco-friendly fashion products. Accessibility and price also play significant roles in determining their willingness to purchase sustainable items. The study's findings provide valuable insights for fashion brands seeking to tap into the Gen Z market and promote sustainable practices in the fashion industry. The paper also suggests policy recommendations for reducing the environmental impact of fashion consumption and fostering greater environmental responsibility among consumers.
