In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the demand for accounting professionals is increasingly high. Experts in the field of accounting need to develop expertise in utilizing data technology to address financial and accounting issues of businesses in the digital age. Diverse skills in accounting are necessary, including expertise in data science and data visualization, as well as understanding of technology, programming, statistics, and analysis. This article synthesizes the opportunities, challenges, and practical assessments of the accounting workforce in the technological transformation phase in Vietnam. The objective is to propose solutions to enhance the quality of the accounting workforce in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. |
