| Abstract: |
The rapid development of digital assets, including cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, has posed numerous legal challenges globally. Countries such as the United States, the EU, the UK, and Singapore have established various legal frameworks to regulate digital assets, focusing on issues such as anti-money laundering (AML), regulatory sandboxes, investor protection, and DeFi management. Vietnam currently lacks a comprehensive legal framework, while the need for regulation is increasingly urgent. Studying international experiences shows that Vietnam needs to adopt measures such as enhancing know-your-customer (KYC) procedures, testing sandboxes, controlling risks in DeFi, and building privacy protection mechanisms. A transparent and flexible legal system will help Vietnam harness the potential of digital assets while ensuring market safety and stability. |
