Abstract: This research focused on the Supervisory Practices and Leadership Competence of School Head on School-Based Management Implementation. This was conducted in 18 public schools under Maramag III District, Maramag, Bukidnon Division of Bukidnon. A total of 300 teachers were chosen as the respondents who answered the survey questionnaire. The descriptive-correlational design was employed to investigate the supervisory practices, leadership competence and school-based management implementation of the school head. It also used Pearson product moment correlation to determine the significance of the relationship between dependent and independent variables. Further, regression analysis was used to identify the variable which best predicts the school-based management implementation of school head. The supervisory practices and leadership competence of school head on school-based management (SBM) implementation lies in their potential to improve the quality of education and increase accountability at the school level. Effective supervisory practices and leadership competence can lead to improved student outcomes, teacher satisfaction, and community engagement. Overall, the significance of supervisory practices and leadership competence of school head on SBM implementation is that they can contribute to improved education outcomes, greater accountability, and the development of a more democratic and participatory school culture.
