Under the background of the new era, the integration of various disciplines is not only an important driving force to promote the development of education, but also the core goal of the development of education, both from the perspective of disciplinary reform and from the perspective of social development. of vital significance. As far as advanced mathematics is concerned, applying it to economics and giving full play to its auxiliary role in the calculation of economic problems can not only improve its reliability but also effectively solve economic problems. Based on this, this paper mainly discusses the application of advanced mathematics in the calculation of economic problems. First, it introduces the development background and current situation of advanced mathematics, expounds on the significance of advanced mathematics in economic problems, and then outlines the relationship between advanced mathematics and economics in detail. There are two misunderstandings, and the problems that need to be paid attention to in the process of applying advanced mathematics to economic problems are clarified.
