| Abstract: |
Drug Acebrophylline is the result of reaction between Ambroxol and Theophylline- 7-acetic acid, recently it has been found for the treatment of bronchial and pulmonary diseases like bronchitis, asthma, emphysema and chronic obstructive disease. This article aims to study accurately about various analytical methods used for determination of Acebrophylline and its derivatives without excipients and in marketed product as well.
The various analytical techniques used are UV spectrophotometry, electrochemical methods, capillary electrophoresis, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), high performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC).
