Abstract: The purpose of this research is to explain the marketing function at AJB BumiPutera 1912 Head Office and find out the factors that hinder the achievement of the marketing function and find out the factors that cause inefficiency in marketing performance at AJB BumiPutera 1912 Head Office. Researchers will discuss this research using the management audit stage.Researchers use a qualitative approach. Qualitative methods are data in the form of oral and written information collected by researchers from companies and interested parties. The data source used is secondary data. Secondary data is a source that does not directly provide data for data collection. Secondary data is obtained from sources that can support research, including documentation and literature Variance analysis is a difference, namely by examining the difference between the budget and its realization as a follow-up effort to determine ineffectiveness or activities that are running uneconomically. Marketing costs incurred from 2021 to 2022 have increased, resulting in a reduction in desired profits.
