| Abstract: |
In this research work, a successful attempt was made for “DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF RP-HPLC METHOD FOR ESTIMATION OF VORICONAZOLE” which was developed by experimentation based on thorough literature survey and ascertained by statistical parameters of sampling. The detailed investigation of all the methods reported by various researchers for the estimation of Voriconazole by RP-HPLC in dosage form or plasma led to the conclusion that these methods either used the highly toxic acetonitrile, which is also very costly and/or buffers for elution of the drug. It was therefore envisioned that the toxic load to the nature could be decreased by using a solvent of similar elution profile in place of acetonitrile and this in turn would also be helpful in decreasing the overall cost of the analysis. |
