Abstract: Higher mathematics education is different from secondary mathematics education. There are great differences in systematization and rigor. Whether it is knowledge reserve or thinking logic, students must understand the importance of mathematical thinking methods in the process of learning advanced mathematics. Recognize the essence of knowledge, transform from traditional knowledge-based learning to ability-based, and enhance the ability to apply knowledge in practice. Based on the importance of mathematical thinking methods, the article discusses their positive role in higher mathematics education.
