| Abstract: |
In the context of global climate change and sustainable development goals, green banking emerges as a key strategy to promote environmentally friendly economic activities. In Vietnam, although the concept of green banking is still relatively new, it is gradually gaining attention as part of the nation’s sustainable economic development strategy. This article analyzes the current state of green banking in Vietnam, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities. It proposes solutions to accelerate the development of green banking in Vietnam. Advancing green banking not only minimizes negative environmental impacts but also creates opportunities to attract international investment and contribute to Vietnam’s sustainable development goals. With appropriate strategies and close coordination, Vietnam can rise to become a regional leader in green finance. |
